An outdoor education centre in North Yorkshire using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) to create accommodation for visiting children.
Director Ian Thorpe said: "I chose SIPs to build our new activity centre because it fits with our core ethos of learning and sustainability, the idea was to educate young people about the practical application of sustainability and use the building to showcase examples. This very thermally efficient building went up within a year, with the SIP structure built in 10 days. The activity centre works with disadvantaged and special needs groups and uses its own resources"
